Åre Lodging – Sweden's Best Ski Chalet

This timber-built chalet sits in the Sadeln area of the Åre ski resort, about 8.6 km (15 minutes) from the village center. Built across four distinct sections, including a separate annex with its own kitchen and two bedrooms, the layout is designed to let multiple families or groups share a roof while keeping some privacy. In total the property holds 10 bedrooms and sleeps up to 19 guests.

The main house centers on a large lounge with a grand fireplace, paired with a Nordic-country-style kitchen and dining area built for group meals. A private sauna is on site for unwinding after time on the mountain, and the chalet has ski-in access with the nearest lifts and slopes a 150-metre walk away. Other features include Wi-Fi, mountain views toward Renfjället, parking, and pet access by arrangement.

Bed linen, towels, basic kitchen supplies, and departure cleaning are included in the stay. Extra services such as a private chef, daily cleaning, grocery deliveries, ski lessons, a nanny, or massage therapists can be arranged for an additional cost. Check-in is at 5:00 PM and check-out at 10:00 AM.

Standard bookings run Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday, though Sunday-to-Thursday and Thursday-to-Sunday stays are also available; other configurations require contacting the booking agent directly.
