Wander St. George Tides

Wander St. George Tides sits directly on the sand at 840 W Gorrie Dr, with a private boardwalk leading from the house to the beach. The single-level layout spreads five suites and a bunk room across six bedrooms, with four king suites and two bunkrooms each holding two queen beds and two twin bunks — 12 beds total, enough for a group of up to 20.

Inside, a wall of windows opens onto a deck that looks over the wading pool and out to open water. The full kitchen and open floor plan suit a crowd cooking and eating together, and there's a hot tub and fire pit for evenings once the beach traffic has cleared. Wifi and air conditioning are standard throughout. Note that the pool heat is currently not functional and a golf cart is not included with the stay, so anyone counting on either should check with the concierge before booking.

St. George Island itself is a low-key stretch of the Florida Panhandle's Forgotten Coast, known for wide, uncrowded sand and a quieter pace than busier Gulf beach towns. Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out at 10:00 am. The property is booked through Wander, and cancellations are free up to 14 days before check-in. Pets are not allowed, smoking incurs a fee, and events are not permitted. It's a fit for extended family trips or multi-couple gatherings where everyone wants beach access without leaving the house.
