Deep Creek A-frame

This A-frame sits on the waterfront at Deep Creek Lake, in Garrett County, Maryland, with the lake and surrounding woods visible through the large windows that define the open-concept main floor. The main level holds the kitchen, dining and living area with a gas fireplace, plus a queen suite with its own bathroom. A loft above adds a desk and seating nook, and a second queen suite with private bath opens onto a balcony and deck.

The basement works as a second gathering space, with a mudroom entry, a living area with a TV and games, a king bedroom, a king suite with a private tub/shower bathroom, and a bunk room with two triple bunks (six beds total) sharing a bathroom with the king room. In total the cabin has five bedrooms and sleeps 14, which makes it workable for extended families or groups splitting across generations.

Outside, a fire pit with seating and firewood faces the lake and trees, and the hot tub runs year round. The kitchen is stocked for real cooking and coffee rituals alike, with a French press, Nespresso machine, electric kettle, pancake griddle, crockpot and blender alongside full cookware and dishware. Every bedroom has a white noise machine, a fan, and a closet with hangers; every bathroom has a hairdryer and soap.
