Beehives Domes

Beehives Domes sits on Bumblebee Campground property near Deep Creek Lake, in the small town of Accident, Maryland, just outside Oakland. The property consists of seven dome structures set along the water, built for guests who want modern comfort without straying far from the lake and forest around them.

Each dome comes with a hot tub and fireplace, and the waterfront setting means the view is part of the stay, not an add-on. The domes work for couples looking for a quiet weekend, friends wanting a low-key group trip, or families up for exploring the Deep Creek area together. Pets aren't allowed, so plan accordingly if traveling with animals.

Days here tend to revolve around the lake and the surrounding land: hiking nearby trails, sitting by the fire, or just watching the sky once the sun drops. The domes are clustered enough to suit group retreats, with communal space that works for reunions or small gatherings, while still offering a private setting for anyone just looking to disconnect for a night or two.

For larger groups who need more room, Bumblebee Campground also manages HIVE House, a separate vacation home nearby that sleeps up to 10 and includes a game room and its own hot tub.

Booking for Beehives Domes runs through resnexus.com, linked from the official site. Military, veterans, nurses, and medical staff get a 5% discount. For questions on availability, rates, or specific dome details, contact the property directly by phone or through their site's contact page.
