Chalet Villas Gerês

Chalet Villas Gerês is a cluster of three self-contained villas built from the local granite typical of the region. Villa Teixo, Villa Azevinho and Villa Carvalho date back to the 1800s, making this one of the older lodgings in the village. Each unit has its own full kitchen with induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine, plus Wi-Fi, air conditioning and cable TV, making the villas practical for a few nights on your own schedule rather than relying on restaurants.

Villa Teixo and Villa Carvalho are arranged over two floors, with a double bedroom and bathroom upstairs reached by stairs; neither is recommended for guests with reduced mobility. Villa Azevinho is laid out as a single open-space unit. Villa Carvalho adds a wood-burning fireplace with heat recuperator and two wooden armchairs in its ground-floor living room. All three sleep extra children on a sofa-bed in the living area and come with a wardrobe, safe and basic toiletries.

Outside, a shared terrace with two armchairs looks onto the surrounding greenery, and there's a pool for summer use. The village center of Gerês is a three-minute walk away, so groceries and local shops don't require a car, and free parking is available on-site. The property sits inside the Peneda-Gerês National Park, close to hiking trails, rivers and waterfalls. No pets are allowed and smoking is not permitted inside the villas.
