The Enchanted Treehouse Farm

The Enchanted Treehouse Farm sits on 6.5 acres of forested Ozark hillside just off historic Route 66 near Union, Missouri. The main structure is built high among two white oak trees and was handcrafted by owners Marsha and Darryl with help from a treehouse-building engineer. Fantasy-themed art, hand-painted murals, and a Narnia-inspired wardrobe entrance carry the theme through the interior, and decor changes with the seasons.

Inside there's a log queen bed, a two-person soaking tub, a mermaid-themed bathroom, and a small kitchenette with grilling essentials. Outside, three elevated decks with lounge chairs and heated blankets look out over perennial gardens and a stone retaining wall. A pavilion holds a hot tub with touchscreen controls and party lights, plus a dry bar, picnic table, and charcoal grill.

This is a stay built for two — it sleeps two guests and doesn't allow pets. There's no wifi, so plan on being offline. Check-in runs from 3 to 6 p.m., with checkout at 11 a.m. A two-night minimum applies, and stricter weekend minimums (Thursday–Friday, Friday–Saturday, or Saturday–Sunday) are set to begin in 2026, with a flat two-night minimum for all 2027 reservations.

Rates for 2026 start at $350 per night Sunday through Thursday, rising to $385 on Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays; 2027 rates begin at $365.
