The Aspen Treehouse Hocking Hills

The Aspen Treehouse sits at Hocking Hills Treehouse Resort in Rockbridge, Ohio, part of a family fun center property. Despite the name, it's not in Colorado — the design borrows a ski-lodge look, with warm wood accents, a drawbridge entrance, and an observation deck, built as a one-bedroom unit that sleeps four.

The kitchenette covers the basics: a Keurig, apartment-size fridge, microwave, hot plate, and cookware, plus an outdoor 22-inch Blackstone griddle for cooking al fresco. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and toiletries included. A private two-person rooftop hot tub and a fire pit are the main draws for unwinding after a day outdoors, and there's a private porch and parking on-site.

Other amenities include Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, air conditioning and electric heat, and keypad entry. Smoking isn't allowed, and pets aren't permitted. Children are welcome, and credit cards are accepted for payment.

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out at 10:00 AM. Bookings run through Lodgify. The property's on-site concierge, Ashley, offers extras like charcuterie boards, in-room massage, flower arrangements, and early check-in or late check-out — these need to be arranged by message before your stay.

The resort grounds include a seasonal inflatable bounce house and mini golf, open Memorial Day through Labor Day from 10am to 5pm, though the treehouses are positioned far enough away that you won't hear that activity.
