Skye Cabins sits on a small working croft on the banks of Loch Snizort, about seven miles from Portree on the Isle of Skye. The property is family run and offers two separate cabins, each positioned for views east toward the Old Man of Storr and south to the Cuillin mountain range.

The original Rotunda Cabin went up in 2019 and comes with a wood-fired hot tub, a fully furnished interior, and everything needed for a self-catered stay. The newer addition, Bocsa, built by Iron and Pine of Dumfries as "The Nook" model, was the first of its kind on the island; it is air conditioned and includes a full kitchen, en-suite bathroom, and its own wood-fired hot tub. Between the two cabins, up to four guests can be accommodated.

Loch Snizort is about 200 metres away, giving direct access to sailing and wild Atlantic salmon fishing on the River Snizort. The surrounding croft land draws sea eagles, herons, buzzards, red deer, Highland cattle, and Scottish Blackface sheep, so wildlife sightings are common from the cabin windows.

Free wifi runs across the property, along with fresh bedding, towels, and a welcome basket on arrival. The central location puts landmarks like the Quiraing, Faerie Glen, Fairy Pools, and Dunvegan Castle within reach without long drives. Bookings and enquiries go through the Skye Cabins website or by phone.
