This yurt sits on a 22-acre farm in Port Orchard, surrounded by forest with room to roam, a deck, a fire pit and a barbecue. Goats, chickens and ducks live on the property, and guests can visit the farm or pick berries in season.

Inside the 24-foot yurt there's one queen bed, one single bed and two Japanese floor mats, along with quality linens. A composting toilet, a hand-washing station, drinking water and a battery pack for charging phones round out the basics. There's no Wi-Fi, so evenings run on lanterns, candles and a kettle for tea or coffee. A small portable heater is available if guests bring their own one-pound propane canister. Pitching a tent on the grounds is also an option.

The listing sleeps up to 10, though the host asks to be contacted in advance for groups larger than six. It's about ten minutes from the Southworth Ferry to West Seattle or downtown Seattle, fifteen minutes from Manchester State Park and six minutes from Long Lake County Park. Parking fits two cars; those arriving by ferry with a bike can request a map for the route in.

Check-in runs from 3 to 10 p.m. and checkout is before 11 a.m., with some flexibility if arranged with the host ahead of time. Pets are welcome. The stay is booked through Hipcamp, with a one-night minimum and no parties allowed.
