Petite Log Cabin on Organic Farm in New Mexico

This 325-square-foot cabin sits on a working organic farm in San Cristobal, just outside Taos, facing the Sangre de Cristo Mountains to the east. The single-room studio holds a queen bed, full kitchen and bathroom, and comfortably sleeps two. A pot-belly wood stove, backed up by an electric heat pump or gas stove, keeps the space warm on cold nights, and a cedar hot tub sits outside for soaking under what the property describes as star-filled skies.

The farm itself spans forty acres, with a vegetable garden guests can pick from, an old apple grove, a barn used for meals and sunset-watching, and a small playground. Animals on site include chickens, a rescue goat named Yoda, and two alpacas, Albert and Allison, all of which guests are welcome to feed.
