Mount Shasta Resort

Mount Shasta Resort sits at 1000 Siskiyou Lake Blvd in Mt Shasta, California, at the foot of the mountain the town is named for. Accommodations are private forest chalets with a separate kitchen, dining room, living room with a gas fireplace, and a deck looking out at the surrounding pines and peak views.

The resort is built around an 18-hole golf course spread across 126 acres, so guests can play a round before heading back to the chalet. On site, the Highland House Restaurant serves meals with views of Mount Shasta, and there is a day spa for after a day of skiing, fishing, hiking, swimming, climbing, or golfing. Trail access and nearby skiing make this a year-round base rather than a single-season stop.

The layout suits families, with enough room to spread out between the kitchen, living area, and outdoor deck rather than a single hotel room. It works as a golf trip, a ski-season base, or a few days centered on hiking and mountain views, depending on when you go.

Booking runs directly through the resort's own website or by phone. The property is open daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm for inquiries and check-in coordination; confirm exact check-in and check-out times and any minimum-stay rules directly with Mount Shasta Resort before booking.
