Loma Cottages sits on 10 acres of orchard and woodland just outside Egg Harbor, in Door County, Wisconsin. The property is made up of six private guest cottages, each with its own character, spread across the grounds rather than clustered together, so the setting stays quiet even with other guests on site.

Layouts vary by cottage. Alma and Andern work well for couples or small families, with a primary king bedroom on the first floor and an enclosed, lofted queen bedroom above. Juniper and Shade Tree are built for larger groups: three bedrooms and two full bathrooms each, including a king with en suite bath, a second king room, and a third room with a twin bed downstairs and a queen in the loft. A separately renovated Farmhouse, set in a century-old building, is also available to book.

Each cottage has a full kitchen, so there's no need to eat out every meal. Outdoor amenities on the property include a sauna, pickleball court, putting green, and walking trails through the orchard, giving families something to do between slower moments by the fire. The pace here leans toward unstructured time -- mornings on the porch, evenings by the fireplace -- rather than a packed activity schedule, though Door County's towns and shoreline are a short drive away.
