Gatherwild Ranch

Gatherwild Ranch sits on rolling farmland in Germantown, New York, part of the Catskills region of the Hudson Valley. The property holds eight accommodations, each built as a glamping tent or ranch-style shelter set apart from the others across the land, so guests get some distance from neighboring stays while still sharing the farm's common spaces.

Days here lean toward slow mornings and open afternoons. There's a sauna on site, free bike rentals, and resident farm animals and gardens to wander past. Chairs are set out at various points around the property to take in the mountain views, and Wi-Fi is available throughout if you need to stay connected.

The ranch works well for couples looking for a quiet stretch of time, groups wanting a shared basecamp, or families with kids who'll enjoy the animals and open ground. Tents are furnished more like a hotel room than a basic camping setup, with comfort built into the design rather than left rustic.

Booking runs through Cloudbeds via the ranch's website. The property can be reached directly by phone, and listed hours run from 10am to 10pm daily, which likely cover check-in, office availability, or on-site activities rather than overnight access — worth confirming directly with Gatherwild before you arrive.
