Set inside a stand of native forest—arrayanes, avellanos, olivillos, ulmos—Cabañas Ensenada Bosque Nativo offers three types of stays: a loft, a standard dome, and a family dome. Each unit has a private bathroom, wood-fired heating, a terrace, and Wi-Fi, built to handle the cooler, wetter stretches of the Los Lagos climate without losing the sense of being tucked into trees.

Every dome comes with its own hot-water tub on the terrace. Loft guests share access to two outdoor tubs a short walk away, also set in the forest. Pets are welcome, which is worth knowing if a dog is part of the trip.

The property sits about 42 km from Puerto Varas on the route toward Ensenada, close enough to Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, the Petrohué waterfalls, Lake Todos los Santos, a ski center, an Osorno Volcano viewpoint, and a waterfall that most visitors fold one or two of these into a day trip. Mornings and afternoons leave time for driving out to the park or the lake before returning to the cabin for the evening.

Check-in runs from 3:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily, which lines up with arrivals coming from a day on the road or on the trails.
