BUENAVISTA CHALTEN is a small complex of six mountain apartments on Las Loicas 691, a few hundred meters from El Chaltén's town center. The units range from 50 to 75 square meters, each sleeping four to five people, making them a fit for families or groups traveling together rather than solo travelers.

Inside, the apartments come with full kitchens — fridge, toaster, coffee maker, oven, microwave, electric kettle — along with living and dining areas set behind large windows that face the surrounding peaks. Bedrooms have quality bedding and the option of different bed configurations, plus smart TVs and Wi-Fi throughout. Heating is standard, and the rooms are non-smoking.

The location is the main draw for hikers: trailheads into the surrounding mountains begin just meters from the property, and the town center is an easy walk away. There's a garden, guest parking, and a 24-hour front desk, with contactless and express check-in/check-out available for those arriving on tight schedules.
