Botacana Cabin

Botacana is a wood-built cabin tucked into El Bosque, a pine-wooded pocket of Punta del Diablo in Rocha, Uruguay. The rustic structure sits a few blocks back from the center's noise and traffic, with the beach roughly nine blocks away. Two bedrooms sleep up to four, making it a fit for a couple or a small family.

The cabin leans into its wood-cabin character rather than hiding it: a fireplace and wood stove handle the cooler months, while the deck doubles as a kitchen and dining spot in warmer weather, with a grill set up for asado. Mornings on the deck come with birdsong and sea air rather than city sound. Inside, the kitchen is fully equipped, and there's a washing machine, microwave, and Wi-Fi for anyone working remotely or just staying connected.

Rates start at 75 dollars a night and shift with season and group size; the booking calendar on the operator's site shows exact pricing by date. A two-night minimum applies, and stays under four nights carry an additional 40-dollar cleaning fee. Check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out at 10:00 AM.
