Beaver Lake Lodge & Cabins sits at the edge of Marble, Colorado, a town of 85 people past the last stop sign before wilderness takes over. The five cabins date back over a century to when they housed quarry workers; today each has its own layout but shares porches, hardwood floors, log beds, kitchens, and mountain views. Fire rings, picnic tables, and a charcoal grill are scattered among them, along with a resident marmot.

The main lodge started as a one-room schoolhouse in the late 1800s and has since served as a meeting hall, bait shop, and restaurant before becoming a lodge in the 1950s. Rooms are recently renovated in a modern farmhouse style, with a kitchenette or full kitchen, a 3/4 bath, TV, and private outdoor access.

Marble is known for its Yule Marble quarries, which supplied stone for the Lincoln Memorial and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The property backs onto Beaver Lake and sits near the Crystal River, with trail access toward Crystal City and the Crystal Mill. Within walking distance across the Carbonate Creek bridge are a BBQ spot, a coffee shop in the old State Bank building, a sculpture gallery, and the town's one breakfast café.

The lodge operates year-round. Summer brings fishing, hiking, and Jeep tours; fall offers quiet trails and changing aspens; winter turns the area into a base for snowshoeing, nordic skiing, and ice fishing. Cabins and lodge rooms can also be booked for retreats, workshops, or group gatherings, with events listed on the property's site. Booking and current availability are handled through the lodge's website or by phone.
